7857 fare dodgers fined in public transport in October

Statistics of "Rīgas satiksme" about ticket inspections in October 2014:

Number of passengers fined in public transport:
Buses	3094
Trolleybuses	2419
Trams	2344
Total:	7857
including:
Fine receipts	5309
Fine bills	2548

It is by 1945 fare dodgers more than in September 2014, when 5912 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Number of ticket inspections in public transport:
Buses	7499
Trolleybuses	7540
Trams	4571
Total:	19610

Just to compare – there were 19762 ticket inspections in September 2014, which is by 152 inspections more than in October 2014.

In October 2014, the maximum number of passengers was fined on trolleybus route (606), but the minimum number, just 1, on bus routes No. 34 and 47.
